Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Pallet Sorter in Upper Marlboro, MD. Earn $18.00/hr on 1st shift, Tue-Fri, 6:00am-4:00pm. You will hand stack pallets, load/unload trailers, and move materials in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and strong communication. Overtime may be required. Benefits available for full-time employees include health coverage, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the distribution center.
• Check loads to make sure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly.
