Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Pallet Sorter in Opelousas, LA to hand sort pallets in a distribution facility. Earn USD 17.00 per hour with 4th shift options. You’ll stack pallets, load/unload trailers, and move materials within the center while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and willingness to work overtime. Benefits include holiday pay, daily pay, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the distribution center.
• Check loads to make sure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly.
