Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year carpentry or construction background preferred.
• Ability to comprehend basic math.
• Must be able to operate power tools in a safe manner.
• Must follow repair process.
• Must lift a minimum of 75 lbs and stand/walk extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Repair or assemble pallets using pneumatic nail gun, powered saw and other tools.
• Place pallets on repair table, remove defective boards and replace with new ones.
• Inspect pallets and ensure CHEP quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required.
