Job summary

CDL Labor Logistics in Olympia, WA is seeking a Loader for our dock operations. The role focuses on accurately counting pallets, tagging, and securing loads for outbound trucks, while maintaining safety and efficient workflow.

You will scan pallets and doors, coordinate with the Shipping Office, and complete loading sheets with accurate store and trailer details. Ideal candidates have basic computer skills, familiarity with Excel/Word, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Verbal communication skills are required.
• Written communication skills are required.
• Ability to lead and coordinate with management or teams.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and WMS usage.

Responsibilities

• Verify pallet counts per store before loading.
• Verify Store pallet ID tags, case labels and manifest to ensure pallets are staged correctly.
• Verify correct door and trailer numbers.
• Switch the Green and Red light as needed during loading to indicate status.
• Ensure that the trailer being loaded is secured.
• Pallets are scanned as they are loaded; loading sheets must be filled out accurately and submitted on time.
• Coordinate with Shipping Office regarding counts and departure times.
• Report unsafe pallets or damaged products to a Supervisor.
