Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a forklift/pallet jack operator to transport product and assist in other areas as needed. Must wear PPE and follow NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and all laws. The role requires lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for long periods.

Shifts run 4:45 AM to 1:43 PM with a starting wage of $19.65 per hour. Work involves walking several miles daily, exposure to wet/cold environments, and noisy equipment requiring ear protection. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Check specified labels of products to verify right content on boxes.
• Take product from one location to another location when needed.
• Assist in helping others as needed.
• Needs to get certified before using any kind of driving equipment.
• Frequently lifts up to 60 lbs and occasionally lifts up to 70 lbs.
• Walks throughout the facility frequently and may cover long distances.
• Must wear PPE and work in cold, wet environments with loud equipment.
