Job summary

The Jack Driver position at Tyson Foods involves safely operating electric and manual pallet jacks to move poultry products, ingredients, packaging, and supplies within the plant. You will inspect equipment, assist with inventory control, and adhere to USDA regulations and GMPs.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of experience with pallet jacks within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks to move products and materials throughout the plant.
• Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies to designated production and storage areas.
• Load, unload, stack, and position pallets as directed.
• Maintain continuous product flow to support production schedules.
• Inspect pallet jacks and equipment before use and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Verify product identification and ensure materials are delivered to the correct locations.
• Follow all food safety, quality assurance, and sanitation procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Comply with Tyson Foods policies, USDA regulations, GMPs, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with inventory control, product movement, and other production duties as assigned.
• Must have 6 months experience within the last 12 months.
