Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembler I in Nampa, Idaho, to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products per customer specifications.

The role requires setting up the work area, using hand tools, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities include maintaining production records, covering and labeling components as needed, and participating in safety and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components according to instructions and quality standards.
• Set up work area and ensure tools and supplies are available.
• Operate hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stack finished products and label/band components as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow safety rules.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection and report issues.
• Maintain production records as required.
• Ensure materials and finished products meet standards and quality procedures.
• Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
