Job summary

Geo Owl in Virginia seeks a Palantir Developer / Data & Application Engineer to design, develop, and support data-driven applications, pipelines, and analytics using Palantir Foundry and AIP. You will translate mission requirements into practical solutions, build data pipelines with Python, PySpark, and SQL, and collaborate with analysts and mission users.

Onsite work at Fort Belvoir is required. Security clearance and Palantir expertise are essential; the role offers growth in national security

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, analytics, or a related technical field.
• 1-2+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry, Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Contour, or Quiver.
• Experience with data integration, data modeling, and data pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications and operational workflows using Palantir Workshop, Slate, and AIP.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Pipeline Builder, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Design and maintain Palantir Ontology objects, relationships, properties, and actions.
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, files, and other enterprise sources.
• Develop dashboards and analytical products using Workshop, Contour, and Quiver.
• Perform data analysis, data quality checks, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, mission users, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide user training, technical documentation, and mentorship.
• Apply security, access-control, data governance, and software development standards.
• Evaluate and implement new Palantir capabilities, including AIP and AI/LLM-enabled workflows.
