Job summary

Software Technology Inc. is seeking a Palantir Application Developer to build modern, high-performance operational apps and interactive UIs. You will bridge complex data pipelines with end-users using Palantir Foundry tools and custom frontend components.

The ideal candidate will translate business needs into sleek dashboards, design UI patterns, and iterate rapidly from wireframes to production-ready interfaces while collaborating with business owners and leveraging the Blueprint design system.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience building user-facing components inside Palantir Foundry (Workshop, Slate, Actions, Functions, and AIP/Pilot environments).
• Comfortable with REST APIs, handling large JSON payloads on the client, and basic data transformations.
• Experience designing UIs on top of APIs and data models (REST/GraphQL).
• Strong UI/UX intuition and ability to prototype rapidly from wireframes to working apps.
• Excellent communication to translate business needs into system requirements and design deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Interact with business owners to understand needs and translate them into system requirements, screen flows, and solution approaches.
• Collaborate with business users to create rapid mockups and implement frontend layouts using Palantir's design libraries (Blueprint).
• Define UI design for Foundry apps, including layout, components, reuse, and accessibility.
• Decide how to use or extend the Ontology for each application.
• Build applications with Palantir tooling: Workshop, Slate, OSDK with React/TypeScript, and AIP (low-code/no-code/generator).
• Configure AIP workflow orchestration, automations, and agent-driven steps in the apps.
• Test with AIP Eval, deploy for demos, iterate based on feedback, and move to production.

Job Description

We are seeking a user-focused Palantir Application Developer specializing in building modern, high-performance operational applications and interactive user interfaces. In this role, you will be the bridge between complex data pipelines and the end-user. Your primary mission is to translate multi-layered data ontologies into highly intuitive, reactive, and visually compelling applications using both Palantir’s low-code modules and custom, hard-coded frontend components.

The ideal candidate has a strong intuition for UI/UX design patterns, experience manipulating massive datasets on the frontend and a deep understanding of Palantir Foundry’s application-building ecosystem.

• Directly interact with business owners to understand business need them and turn them into clear system requirements, screen flows and a solution approach.
• UI/UX & Design Systems: Collaborate closely with business users to create rapid mockups and implement frontend design layouts using Palantir's open-source design library, Blueprint.
• Define the UI design for Foundry applications, including layout, component strategy, reusability and accessibility.
• Decide how to use or extend the existing Ontology (objects, properties, links, logic and actions) for each application.
• Build applications rapidly with Palantir tooling: Workshop, Slate, the OSDK with React/TypeScript, and AIP (low-code, no-code and generated code).
• Configure AIP workflow orchestration, automations and agent-driven steps within the applications.
• Test using AIP Eval, deploy for demos and reviews, and iterate on feedback through to production release.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Palantir Platform Expertise: Proved hands‑on experience building user‑facing application components inside Palantir Foundry (specifically Workshop, Slate, Actions, Functions, and AIP/Pilot environments).
• Data Layout Literacy: Comfortable with REST APIs, handling large JSON payloads efficiently on the client side, and executing basic data transformations. Experience designing UIs on top of APIs and data models (REST / GraphQL, data‑driven interfaces).
• Comfortable with fast prototyping and iteration (wireframe to working app in days)
• Problem Solving & Communication: Outstanding ability to sit down with a non‑technical end‑user, observe their everyday operational friction, and map it directly into a sleek dashboard UI layout.
• Stakeholder Communication: Able to work directly with business owners to translate business needs into system requirements, design, and development in fast paced ADLC cycles.
