Pearl Painters in the Portland metro area is hiring a dependable, full-time Painting Apprentice. You will learn Pearl's methods, support prep, painting, and cleanup, and work on interior and exterior projects with a team that invests in your growth.

Starting pay is $17–$20 per hour with benefits and a clear career path from Apprentice to leadership. You’ll be evaluated on measurable KPIs, with chances for promotion within months as you gain skills and performance.

Qualifications

• No experience required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• A smartphone with a data plan (for jobsite communication)
• Physical ability to lift, climb ladders, and handle tools safely
• Willingness to learn, show up, and take pride in your work
• Not afraid of heights

Responsibilities

• Training in Pearl's Best Known Methods (BKMs) for prep, painting, cleanup, and maintaining a professional vibe on the job.
• Daily tasks include prepping rooms, caulking, rolling and brushing interiors and exteriors, sanding, and keeping tools organized.
• Work alongside experienced painters who invest in your success.
• Create happy clients while sticking to the budget and are tracked by clear benchmarks.
