Job summary

Four Seasons in Houston is seeking a Painter/Wallpaper Coverer to maintain wall appearances throughout the hotel, completing scheduled projects and urgent requests with professionalism.

The role involves painting, drywall work, wall covering repair and installation; ladders use; maintaining supplies; knowledge of paints; floating drywall joints. This is a full-time on-site position with excellent training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience painting, drywall work, wall covering repair and installation.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment is preferred.
• Must have strong commitment to customer service and ability to work with little supervision.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

About The Role

The Painter/Wallpaper Coverer is responsible for maintaining wall appearances throughout the hotel. Will complete scheduled projects in addition to urgent requests, while working in an efficient, courteous and professional manner and complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

What You Will Do

• The painter is responsible for painting, drywall work/replacement, wall covering repair and installation.


• Must be able to utilize ladders and carry paint buckets.


• Be able to maintain adequate supply levels.


• Familiarity with the different kinds of paints.


• Proficient in floating the drywall joints.

What You Bring

• Three years' experience painting, drywall work, wall covering repair and installation is preferred.


• Working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset.


• Must have a strong commitment to customer service and ability to work with little supervision.


• Must be a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills as well as excellent verbal & written communication skills.
