Job summary

ProMedica in Toledo is seeking a Painter to maintain and decorate surfaces across hospital facilities. You will paint, varnish or stain fixtures, fill holes, remove old materials, and prepare surfaces for finishing.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of painting experience; a valid driver's license is needed. A Residential Builders/Contractors license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience in painting, finishing and floor covering.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Preferred license for residential construction work.

Responsibilities

• Paint, varnish or stain surfaces, trimmings and fixtures.
• Fill nail holes, cracks and joints; remove plaster/drywall/paneling as needed.
• Install ceramic and vinyl tiles and carpet; prepare surfaces accordingly.
• Set up scaffolding or ladders and prepare surfaces for finishing.
