Job summary

ProMedica's Toledo Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and pneumatic systems across patient care areas. You will help create safe, welcoming environments for patients, visitors and staff while ensuring code compliance and reliable operations.

Responsibilities include inspecting work, coordinating with teams, and supporting on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or trade school diploma or degree from technical school.
• Must have working knowledge of electricity, fire safety codes, refrigeration, and air conditioning codes.
• 1-2 years previous experience in similar positions in an institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs of hospital facilities and systems (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic).
