This role requires strong communication with homeowners and commercial clients and the ability to supervise safely and deliver high-quality finishes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional painting experience.
• 2+ years crew leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential painting and commercial painting.

• Strong drywall repair skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Position Summary

The Lead Painter is responsible for managing painting projects from start to finish while leading a crew to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to Painter Bros quality standards.

This position requires someone who can confidently supervise painters, communicate with customers, solve problems, and produce high-quality finished work.

Responsibilities

Lead daily painting operations including:

Project Leadership

• Lead and supervise painting crews
• Assign daily tasks
• Ensure projects stay on schedule
• Train and mentor crew members
• Maintain a productive work environment

Painting Duties

• Interior painting
• Exterior painting
• Cabinet painting
• Drywall repair
• Surface preparation
• Caulking
• Sanding

Customer Service

• Communicate professionally with homeowners and commercial clients

• Verify straight cut lines
• Ensure clean work areas

• Proper PPE usage

• Airless sprayers
• HVLP sprayers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years professional painting experience
• 2+ years crew leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential painting
• Strong knowledge of commercial painting
• Ability to spray, brush, and roll professionally
• Experience with cabinet finishing preferred
• Strong drywall repair skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working on ladders
