Temporary Painter – Contract through August
Location: 77054
Pay Range: $15.00 per hour
Employment Status: Temporary, Full-Time (through August 31)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable
Painter to support one of our Houston-area properties. This is a
temporary, contract role through the end of August 2025. The ideal candidate has strong experience in interior and exterior painting and takes pride in producing clean, professional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform prep work including sanding, caulking, patching, and masking
- Apply paint, stain, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces as assigned
- Ensure all surfaces are finished neatly and according to specified standards
- Follow proper safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate progress and supply needs to property leadership
- Protect surrounding property and ensure no damage to adjacent surfaces
- Perform basic drywall patching and texture matching where needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional painting experience
- Proficiency in painting techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Schedule
30 to 40 hours per week
Flexible hours will be permitted for this position and will allow for weekends and evenings.
