Job summary

V2X Inc is seeking a Painter (2nd shift) to support the Modernization and Sustainment site in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role involves applying lacquers and coatings, performing finishing techniques, and preparing items for painting according to blueprints and specifications.

The position requires use of a spray gun, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards within a manufacturing environment. This is a 2nd shift role at our Indianapolis site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with surface preparation and coating methods.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
• May be designated according to the article painted.

Responsibilities

• Applies lacquer, rust-proofing agents, and other coatings to surfaces.
• Performs special finishing techniques such as marbling and graining.
• Prepares items for painting by tinting, toning, matching, blending, and mixing additives.
• Paints articles using brushes and other methods.
• Is required to use a spray gun.
• Transfers items to and from work area.
• Follows instructions provided through routings, blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
• Pays close attention to detail to ensure precise coating application and avoid defects.
