Job summary

Senior Resource Group-SRG is seeking a skilled Painter to support painting projects in our senior living communities. The role involves prepare-and-paint tasks, surface prep, masking, and finishing with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Vocational training in painting, carpentry, or related trade preferred.
• Certification in painting, construction, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor to determine painting requirements and assist in project decisions.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by Maintenance Director.
• Cover surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths and other coverings to protect from paint.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, filling holes/cracks, and sanding to ensure smoothness.
• Apply primers and sealers to ensure paint adhesion.
• Mix and match paint, stains, and finishes to meet job specs.
• Apply paint, stain, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Maintain inventory of painting supplies and equipment.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed.
• Review and implement work orders and assignments.
