Job summary

Lion Real Estate Group is seeking a skilled Painter to lead unit turns and community-wide painting projects across multiple properties. You will own make-ready painting tasks, perform drywall repairs, and handle interior and exterior projects while ensuring move-in ready standards.

This full-time role offers hourly pay plus commission, travel between properties, and growth opportunities within maintenance or leadership tracks.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional painting experience required.
  • Strong drywall repair and finishing skills.
  • Basic carpentry skills required (advanced skills a plus).
  • High attention to detail and pride in quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Complete make-ready unit painting (walls, trim, doors, touch-ups).
  • Perform drywall repairs, patching, sanding, and textured finishes.
  • Handle interior and exterior painting projects, including common areas.
  • Maintain curb appeal by painting curbs, fencing, signage, and other surfaces.
  • Ensure all units and projects meet move-in ready standards.
  • Assist with unit rehabs and light carpentry work as needed.

What You’ll Do
  • Complete make-ready unit painting (walls, trim, doors, touch-ups)
  • Perform drywall repairs, patching, sanding, and textured finishes
  • Handle interior and exterior painting projects, including common areas
  • Maintain curb appeal by painting curbs, fencing, signage, and other surfaces

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of professional painting experience required
  • Multifamily/apartment experience strongly preferred
  • Strong drywall repair and finishing skills
  • Basic carpentry skills required (advanced skills a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple units/deadlines
  • High attention to detail and pride in quality work
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties
  • Valid Driver's License and insured operable vehicle (Mileage Reimbursement offered)
Salary Information

$20 - $22Hourly Wage
