Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Painter/Powder Coater for 1st shift in Hamilton, OH. You will prepare surfaces, apply epoxy and urethane paints, and ensure high-quality finishes on parts.

Responsibilities include masking, adjusting spray guns, and maintaining equipment to support a efficient production line.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to use basic arithmetic and perform simple measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces and apply epoxy and urethane coatings to achieve high-grade finishes.
  • Masking and cap application to protect non-coated parts.
  • Adjust spray gun valves to control width and pressure.
  • Operate spray equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining booth.
  • Clean and maintain all spray equipment and booths.
  • Suggest improvements to supervisors regarding assigned tasks.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions from lead personnel and supervisors.

Painter/Powder Coater (1st Shift) - Hamilton, OH

1st Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM to 4:00PM

The Paint Operator prepares surfaces and applies epoxy and urethane wet paints to obtain high-grade finishes on parts or products.

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:

  • Applying masking tape and/or caps to protect parts and components that are not to be coated.
  • Applying wet coat surfaces of manufactured products with epoxy and urethane coatings.
  • Adjust valves on spray guns to regulate the width and pressure of spray.
  • Pull trigger and direct spray onto the work surface to apply prime or finish coat.
  • Properly cleaning and maintaining all spray equipment including booth maintenance.
  • Making suggestions to supervisors for improvements associated with assigned work.
  • Following instructions, both written and verbal, from the lead person and production supervisors.
  • Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
    Inspect your own work for conformity to standards.
