Job summary

Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking a Painter to service our facility. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, focused on painting interior and exterior areas as needed.

The position involves surface prep, patching, masking, and applying paint using rollers, brushes or sprayers, with attention to cleanliness and safety in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience painting surfaces with rollers, brushes or sprayers.
• Detail-oriented with strong prep and finish.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning/Prepping walls for paint application
• Spackling and sanding of imperfections on paint surfaces
• Furniture movement and/or relocation in preparation of paint application
• Covering of all surfaces needing protection from possible paint splatters
• Painting hallways, resident rooms, bathrooms, lounges, common areas, building exterior as needed, utilizing roller, spray and /or brush application techniques
• Clean up of workspaces following painting
• All duties associated with the painting process
