The Painter Lead reports to the Paint Supervisor and is responsible for preparing surfaces using power washer and cleaners to remove contaminants. Fill the machine tanks with a mixture of paints or chemicals to prescribed amounts.

Key Roles:

• Observes and adjusts system gauges appropriately.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment functioning properly.
• Understands paint application technic. Electric-Stat and Air-Assisted paint systems
• Painting applies to various products to produce clean, evenly coated finish, free from visual defects such as runs, sagging, light or missing paint, grit, contamination, adhesion, mill scaling, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Checks products for defects and corrects imperfections.
• Use a spray gun to apply touch-ups as necessary.
• Ensures proper lifting techniques; including proper hoist usage, asking for assistance, or any other measure to ensure safe lifting techniques are completed.
• Keeps a neat and clean work environment.
• Strives for an injury free workplace through a “safety first” attitude.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

All other duties are performed as necessary.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 3-5 years of industrial or autobody painting experience preferred.

Location and Hours:

Location: 350 E 60 th St N

Hours: 4:30pm-3:00am

Days of Shift: Monday-Thursday
