  • Completion of ninth (9th) grade and two (2) years of relevant experience.
Job Description

Painter will have experience in painting residential, commercial, or industrial structures, and a strong understanding of surface preparation, color mixing, and finishing techniques. Will have experience in drywall patch and finishing. You will be responsible for transforming spaces through high-quality painting and ensuring all work meets client and safety standards.

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or filling holes and cracks.
  • Protect surfaces not being painted using masking tape and other materials.
  • Apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
  • Mix and match paint colors to desired specifications.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in clean and safe condition.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members as needed.
  • Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, timelines, and safety guidelines.

$22-$26 per hour.

Required Qualifications
  • Completion of ninth grade and two years of relevant experience.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, is an essential function of this position.
Preferred
  • 5 years of painting experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Completion of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills.
  • Previous experience working in a research, hospital, or university setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of power tools and drills for mixing and sanding.
