Job Overview
As a Painter / Maintenance Staff Member, you will maintain building/facility surfaces by cleaning, mixing, and applying paint and other finishers. You will prepare interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, units, and common areas. The position may involve indoor work, outdoor work, or a mixture of both.
Painting of all common areas and touch‑up may be required.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure that security procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Inspect areas that need paint and advise the manager.
- Properly match colors and mix paint.
- Follow all safety precautions while performing work.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with building staff.
- Complete daily work orders as scheduled.
- Use new equipment safely and follow all stated procedures before use.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in paint application.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures.
- Work for long periods standing; reach overhead; maintain full range of mobility.
- Perform tasks in various positions including stooping, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting.
- Climb ladders and work at heights up to 14 ft on A‑frames and 21 ft on extension ladders.
- Work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity).
- Repeat motions with wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Lift, pull, and push materials and equipment up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Communicate and exchange ideas verbally and in writing.
- Maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Compensation
