Essential Job Functions:
  1. Follow standard operating procedures and written/verbal instructions in English.
  2. Lift up to 75 lbs. and maintain good physical condition. Tasks include standing, bending, climbing, crawling, and lying on hard surfaces, with upper body and back strength required.
  3. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, including PPE usage.
  4. Work in noisy environments as needed.
  5. Work overtime when required.
  6. Actively pursue cost reduction measures.
  7. Complete tasks within specified time limits and standards.
  8. Read a tape measure accurately.
  9. Comply with safety regulations, report discrepancies.
  10. Develop knowledge of products, options, and uses.
  11. Read and understand blueprints.
  12. Be cross-trained in relevant departments.
  13. Learn about parts, their usage, and quantities.
  14. Communicate low stock levels to department leaders.
  15. Possess extensive experience or mastery of required skills for advancement.
  16. Plan efficient schedules.
  17. Share knowledge as needed.
  18. Record information for future reference.
  19. Be certified to operate forklifts, motored pallet jacks, and cranes.
  20. Recognize and report quality issues immediately.
Daily Functions:
  1. Complete daily functions as a Paint Tech I & II.
  2. Mix paint per shop orders; lift 20-30 lbs.
  3. Mask bodies and cabs, climb ladders for 1-2 hours per shift.
  4. Use air hoses to clean ladder sections.
  5. Use computer skills for documentation.
  6. Document and upload paint material usage and costs.
  7. Update inventory spreadsheets and order supplies.
  8. Match colors for ROMs and Hansen requests.
  9. Document and upload requests properly.
Potential Hazards:
  1. Eye injuries: wear eye protection and face shields during sanding.
  2. Trips, slips, & falls: keep aisles clear, use caution on ladders, wear skid-resistant shoes.
  3. Cuts & burns: wear PPE during sanding.
  4. Repetitive motion: follow MSDS and wear protective clothing; wash hands after solvents.
  5. Air quality: wear respirators due to vapors.
  6. Dermatitis: wear gloves and glasses when mixing paints.
