Medxcel in Racine, WI, seeks a skilled painter to join the Facilities team at All Saint's Hospital. You will apply protective and decorative coatings, prepare surfaces, and help maintain walls and vinyl coverings while following safety guidelines.

This full-time day-shift role emphasizes accuracy, equipment operation, and collaboration with colleagues on projects and training. Prior trade school education and multiple years of experience are preferred, with growth opportunities in facilities

Qualifications

• Graduate of trade school and 3 years’ relevant experience preferred
• 5 years’ relevant experience preferred
• Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience

Responsibilities

• Apply protective and decorative coatings to interiors and exteriors; prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, or smoothing.
• Maintain and repair paint surfaces; match colors and consult with customers on color choice.
• Safely operate equipment including compressors, spray gear, and other painting tools.
• Erect scaffolding, staging, ladders, and planks as needed; ensure DOT/ADA compliance for graphics and signage.
• Contribute to special projects and provide basic paint trade training to teammates.
