Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a skilled Painter to help create memorable vacations by maintaining and beautifying interiors and exteriors of our properties.

You will apply paints, varnishes, and finishes, prepare surfaces, and ensure each unit meets our quality standards while delivering friendly guest service. The role requires a valid driver’s license, familiarity with tools and power tools, and the ability to work independently while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Experience using power tools and shop equipment; knowledge of safe tool handling.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook for documentation and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, filling holes and smoothing joints.
• Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel or lacquer to interior or exterior surfaces.
• Maintain safety standards and use PPE; set up ladders or scaffolding as needed.
• Ensure areas meet company compliance standards and coordinate with maintenance teams.

How You'll Shine:

As a Painter, you will make dream vacations by providing quality results for our guests by using your painting skills, customer service expertise and guaranteeing each unit and building is properly maintained.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Removal of old paint from surface to prepare surface for painting, fill nail holes, cracks, and joints, smooth surfaces and apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, and other structures. Ensure your area of responsibility meets all company compliance standards, using the appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) at all times. Utilize scaffolding or set up ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level.

What You’ll Bring:

Valid Driver’s License. Working knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in the painting trade. Knowledgeable in safety use for power tools and shop tools and equipment. Ability to work independently, to follow written and verbal instructions. Computer proficiency with various computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Compensation

Generally starting at $25.00 - $29.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
