Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. seeks a Maintenance Tech I to ensure every unit and building are in top condition for guests. You will perform general facility maintenance, handle repairs from painting to carpentry, and support make-ready tasks to keep properties ready for occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance under supervision to preserve quality and efficiency.
• Handle service requests and repairs (painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).
• Maintain make-ready units as directed and inspect building systems for deficiencies.
• Apply repair work for doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture and cabinetry.
• Maintain exterior landscape and cleanup as needed.
• Follow safety programs and report issues to supervisor.

As a Maintenance Tech I, you’ll make dream vacations by providing quality results for our guests by using your maintenance skills, customer service expertise and guaranteeing each unit and building is in perfectly working order.

How You'll Make an Impact

Perform all general facility maintenance under supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production.

Perform service requests and repairs as directed (Painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).

Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.

Apply basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures, general repair includes: doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.

Clean and maintain outside landscape: including emptying trash, pick up of trash, general landscape work.

Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.

Adhere to the company’s safety programs.

Compensation Generally starting at $17.50 - $18.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
