Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to ensure each unit and building are in perfect working order, delivering quality results for our guests using maintenance skills and customer service know-how.

You will perform general facility upkeep, handle repairs (painting, appliance, electrical, carpentry), make-ready units, and maintain fixtures, landscape, and building systems, while following safety programs and company policies.

• Basic handyman skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance under supervision to preserve quality and efficiency.
• Perform service requests and repairs (painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).
• Make-ready unit maintenance as directed.
• Repair general fixtures (doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, cabinetry).
• Clean and maintain outdoor landscape and trash.
• Inspect building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.

As a Maintenance Tech I, you’ll make dream vacations by providing quality results for our guests by using your maintenance skills, customer service expertise and guaranteeing each unit and building is in perfectly working order.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Perform all general facility maintenance under supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production. Perform service requests and repairs as directed (Painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry). Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed. Apply basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures, general repair includes: doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry. Clean and maintain outside landscape: including emptying trash, pick up of trash, general landscape work. Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor. Adhere to the company’s safety programs.

Compensation Generally starting at $19.50 - $19.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
