University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign seeks a full-time Civil Service Painter (3027). The role entails preparing interior and exterior surfaces, rigging scaffolding, maintaining painting equipment, and training apprentices. Starting salary is $40.96/hour, with benefits outlined below.

Perform tasks of applying protective coatings for the purpose of protection and beautification.
1. Receives work assignments from Foreperson/Sub-foreperson or Director Building Maintenance & Grounds or Superintendents. Work is inspected by the Building Maintenance Painter Foreperson or Sub- Foreperson.
This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 3027 - Painter position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 9/14/2026. Starting salary is $40.96/hour. This position is not eligible for any type of visa sponsorship.
