Job summary

Arcosa Shoring Products in Union City, MI is seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Painter to prepare, coat and finish metal and other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment.

As a Painter, you will mix coatings such as alkyds, epoxies, gel coats and polyurethane finishes according to prescribed formulas, while following safety rules and contributing to quality and efficiency. The position offers Monday–Friday, 4:00 pm–1:30 am with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum industrial painting experience
• Knowledge of spray equipment and coatings
• Ability to work safely and efficiently
• Regular attendance

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for paint coatings
• Operate conventional and airless spray equipment to apply finishes
• Mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies, and waterborne systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

Arcosa Shoring Products, is seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Painter in our Union City, MI operations. As a Painter, you'll prepare, coat and finish metal and/or other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of services.

Arcosa Shoring Products makes trench shoring equipment for the construction industry. Our dedicated team builds high-quality trench shields and shoring products that are made to last.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 4 pm to 1:30 am

What You’ll Do

• Mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula

• Follow all safety rules and practices

Desired qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience
• Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area
• Ability to perform all essential functions safety and efficiently
• Regular and predictable attendance
