Job summary

Arcosa Inc. in Union City, MI, is seeking a 1st shift Industrial Painter to prepare, coat and finish metal and other surfaces using conventional and airless spray equipment. You will apply alkyds, epoxies, and related coatings following a prescribed formula while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial painting experience.
• Ability to operate all equipment in that area.
• Safety and efficiency in performing essential functions.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint, laminate rubber or other material.
• Operate conventional and airless equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces.
• Mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.

Arcosa Shoring Products, is seeking a 1st shift Industrial Painter in our Union City, MI operations. As a Painter, you'll prepare, coat and finish metal and/or other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of services. Arcosa Shoring Products makes trench shoring equipment for the construction industry. Our dedicated team builds high-quality trench shields and shoring products that are made to last.

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 6 am to 3:30 pm
