Job summary

Arcosa Shoring Products in Union City, MI is seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Painter to prepare, coat and finish metal surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other surfaces. Duties include mixing and applying alkyds, epoxies, gel coats and powder coats according to prescribed formulas, and performing other duties as assigned while following all safety rules.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4 pm to 1:30 am.

Qualifications

• 1 year of industrial painting experience.
• Ability to operate spray equipment safely.
• Commitment to regular attendance.
• Ability to follow prescribed formulas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coating with paint.

Arcosa Shoring Products, is seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Painter in our Union City, MI operations. As a Painter, you'll prepare, coat and finish metal and/or other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of services.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 4 pm to 1:30 am

What you’ll do:

• Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint, laminate rubber or other material
• Operate conventional and airless equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces
• Mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow all safety rules and practices

Desired qualifications:'

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience
• Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area
• Ability to perform all essential functions safety and efficiently
• Regular and predictable attendance
