Job summary

Arcosa Shoring Products in Houston, TX is seeking an Industrial Painter to prepare, coat and finish metal and other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes.

You’ll mix and apply alkyds, epoxies and urethanes per prescribed formulas, perform related duties, and follow all safety rules to ensure quality workmanship. This is a full-time role with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial painting experience.
• Ability to operate conventional and airless spray equipment safely.
• Ability to mix and apply finishes per prescribed formulas.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

Arcosa Shoring Products, is seeking an Industrial Painter in our Houston, Tx plant. As a Painter, you'll prepare, coat and finish metal and/or other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of services.

Arcosa Shoring Products makes trench shoring equipment for the construction industry. Our dedicated team builds high-quality trench shields and shoring products that are made to last.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 6 am to 3:45 pm

What You’ll Do

• Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint, laminate rubber or other material
• Operate conventional and airless equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces
• Mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow all safety rules and practices

Desired qualifications:'

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience
• Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area
• Ability to perform all essential functions safety and efficiently
• Regular and predictable attendance
