Job summary

Dd Construction is seeking a Commercial Painter and Cleaner to join our team. You will perform professional interior painting and cleaning in a commercial setting, applying paints with brushes or rollers to deliver high-quality results.

You are an experienced residential and/or commercial cleaner/painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. A positive attitude is a must!

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
• Previous cleaning experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment

Responsibilities

• Paint using proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Clean hallways and lobbies: vacuum, mop, sweep, dust
• Clean Tenant apartments when leases are up
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
