Job summary

BAS Enterprises LLC in Michigan is seeking a residential/commercial painter to perform exterior and interior painting in homes and light commercial projects. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints, and apply finishes while ensuring high-quality results on schedule.

Responsibilities include working with customers, estimating simple projects, and maintaining painting equipment. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; ability to lift up to 20 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment

Responsibilities

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
