Job summary

EQUALITY PAINTING is seeking a motivated Residential/Commercial Painter to handle exterior and interior painting in homes and light commercial settings. You will work as part of a team, delivering high-quality finishes and ensuring customer satisfaction with a professional approach.

You should bring experience in residential or commercial painting, reliable transportation, and a can-do attitude to ensure projects are completed on time and to standard.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Paint or stain using a proper applicator (brush, roller, sprayer, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques.
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed.
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary.
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.
• Inspect paint jobs for quality.
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment.
