Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Warehouse Painter to paint parts and prepare surfaces. You will use a lift truck to move materials and parts to proper locations, ensuring quality and efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires completing safety checks, wearing appropriate PPE, and meeting physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Eligible candidates can earn up to $33.11/hour with shift premiums on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a respiratory test and wear a half-mask respirator.
• Frequent manual handling and use of lift equipment.
• Attention to safety and good housekeeping (5S).

• Hang parts with assistance of a lift truck or hoist and paint parts according to production travelers.
• Use lift truck to move material and completed parts to proper locations.
• Perform daily lift truck and hoist pre-operational safety checks.
• Perform pre and post check of all parts for defects.
• Note any missing parts for expediting.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.
• Fit and adjust Personal PPE for proper alignment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay tops out at $33.11/hour (plus shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts)

Minimum Qualifications

• Frequently (climb stairs, climb to step into li ft trucks, work with arms outstretched, and work above chest level),
• Occasionally (bend/stoop/twist, squat/kneel/crawl, reach below knee level).
• Continual lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling (Continually from 0 to 35 lbs., occasionally from 36-40 lbs., infrequently from 41-50 lbs.).
• Must be able to pass a respiratory test and be able to wear a half-mask respirator.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Read blueprints, basic math, reason, remember, and analyze.

Additional Information

• 2nd shift: Hours for this position are 2:45 pm - 10:55 pm Monday through Friday
• 3rd shift: Hours for this position are 10:45 pm to 6:55 am Sunday through Thursday
