Job summary

CTL Aerospace is a NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company located in northern Cincinnati, Ohio. We are seeking a Painter to join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and support painting operations for aerospace structures.

You will read plans, obtain materials, mix paints, and operate a HVLP spray gun with booth responsibilities. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs, stand long hours, and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Read and understand manufacturing plans.
• Obtain materials per plan and maintain documentation.
• Operate pneumatic tools such as hand grinder, DA sander, HVLP spray gun.
• Knowledge of paint mixing and spray gun usage, troubleshooting & care.
• Surface preparation and booth operation.
• Mask off parts using painter's tape.
• Stand for long periods, able to lift 50 lbs and work in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret manufacturing plans to guide painting work.
• Prepare materials and maintain process documentation as work proceeds.
• Operate HVLP spray gun and related equipment safely.
• Mask parts and manage surface preparation and booth operations.
• Maintain paint mixing accuracy and perform routine equipment care.
• Overtime as business needs require.

We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as a Painter at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

Job Requirements

• Read and understand manufacturing plans.
• Obtain appropriate materials per plan and maintain the documentation throughout the process.
• Ability to use pneumatic tools such as hand grinder, DA sander & HVLP spray gun.
• Have knowledge of Paint Mixing
• Paint Spray Gun Usage, Troubleshooting & Care
• Paint Surface Preparation
• Paint Booth Operation
• Ability to mask off parts using Painters tape.

Job Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• American Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Stand for long periods of time.Must be able to Spray Paint using a HVLP Gun.
• Must be able to cross train and work overtime as business needs require.
