Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network in Vidor, TX is seeking a Painter to prepare and apply paint to various surfaces, perform touchups, and assist with drywall repairs. The role includes coordinating large painting projects within the facility and ensuring quality finishes.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and painting experience. Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to read and follow instructions is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Painting experience required.
• Experience in long-term care or related health care setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Mix, match, and apply paint to surfaces; complete touchups and texture work.
• Repair drywall including taping and bedding; sand and finish surfaces.

Job Summary

The Painter position is Responsible for mixing, matching, and applying paint to various surfaces, completing touchups, drywall repairs to include tape and bedding, application of texture, sanding and paint. Painter is responsible for facilitating and coordinating large painting projects for the facility.

Qualifications

• Painting experience required
• Experience working in a long-term care or related health care setting is preferred, but not required,
