Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dependable painter to refresh our skilled nursing facility in Statesboro, GA. You will paint resident rooms, hallways, and common areas, coordinating with the Maintenance Director to keep spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, families, and staff.

You will patch holes, sand, caulk, and tape surfaces, then apply paint neatly and evenly while protecting floors and furnishings; follow safety and infection control policies and report issues to maintenance.

Qualifications

• Painting experience in commercial/healthcare/residential settings.
• Ability to use ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful around residents.
• Must pass background check and any required pre-employment screening.

We’re looking for a dependable painter to help refresh our skilled nursing facility this season. You’ll work with the Maintenance Director to paint resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and other spaces, keeping our building clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

You’ll prep surfaces by patching holes, sanding, caulking, and taping, then paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces neatly and evenly. You’ll also protect floors, furniture, and fixtures during work and clean up thoroughly afterward, coordinating with nursing and housekeeping so you can work around residents with minimal disruption. You’ll follow safety, infection control, and facility policies, including proper ventilation, signage, and storage of paint and chemicals, and you’ll keep the work area safe so that tools and materials are never left unattended in resident areas. You’ll report any maintenance issues you notice to the Maintenance Director.
