Mestek manufactures parts and relies on painting operations on the production line to finish components.
This role prepares parts, applies paints as parts move down the line, and ensures paint exposures are handled safely.
Responsibilities include loading/unloading, cleaning paint pots, booths, and lines, and performing routine maintenance or rebuilds of paint equipment; high school diploma and basic paint experience preferred.
Paints parts and mixes paints for the parts on the line; maintains equipment as needed.
Looks at paperwork for paint exposures to properly paint the product.
Prepares the parts to be painted.
Paints parts as they move down the assembly line.
Loads and unloads parts on the line.
Cleans out paint pots.
Cleans the booths and lines.
Performs maintenance and rebuilds paint equipment as needed
Performs other duties as needed or assigned

High school diploma or general education degree (GED): and one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Body shop and painting experience is helpful. Knowledge of using spray paints and experience in mixing paints helpful. Ability to analyze and problem-solve required.
