Wildeck in Wisconsin is seeking a qualified Painter to spray surfaces with protective materials in a manufacturing setting. Location: Waukesha, WI; Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5am–3pm; Status: full-time, non-exempt.

You will select colors, mix paints, operate manual pumps for special colors, and spray or clean using solvents while following safety procedures. The company offers an ESOP, 401k, and comprehensive health plans.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED, or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Physical requirements: regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds when turning parts.
• OSHA safety shoes, safety glasses, respirator, hearing protection and painters’ suit required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Our Opportunity

Under the direction of the manufacturing supervisor, the painter sprays surfaces of manufactured products with protective material such as thinner based or water-based paint by performing the following duties.

THE ROLE: Painter

Location: Waukesha, WI

Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor

Position Type: Full-time, non-exempt

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 5am – 3pm

Your Responsibilities

• Select proper color and assure that paint is properly mixed.
• Operate manual paint pumps for special colors or small batch operation.
• Paint oversize material in manual spray booth, including power washing and drying.
• Clean spraying equipment with solvent.
• Maintain the paint exhaust filter system.

Your Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Physical requirements include: regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds when turning parts over, dependent on the part being painted.
• Employee must wear OSHA approved safety shoes, safety glasses, respirator, hearing protection and painters’ suit.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
