Position Summary

• The Painter performs functions related to the operation, maintenance, and repair of interior and exterior painting, plastering, and cosmetic appearance of the Hospital’s building and grounds.
• Applies paint, wall coverings, and finishes to various surfaces as directed.
• Prepares surfaces through sanding, taping, plastering, and related duties.
• Mixes materials like paints, stains, varnishes, enamels, lacquers, and custom colors.
• Cleans and maintains tools, brushes, equipment, and supplies.
• Checks assigned areas weekly, notes deficiencies, and takes corrective actions.

Shift

Full-time, Day Shift (40 hours/week): Sunday - Thursday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Weekend work required.

Education/Experience

• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred; equivalent training and experience acceptable.
• Minimum 2 years (4 preferred) experience in painting, plastering, and wall prep, ideally in a hospital setting.

Salary Range

Minimum $20.40/hour - Maximum $33.65/hour, commensurate with experience and role scope. Salary discussions occur during screening if range is $0.
