Job summary

Master Painters Enterprises Inc. is seeking a residential/commercial painter to perform exterior and interior painting on single-family homes and light commercial properties.

You will prepare surfaces and apply finishes, ensuring a high-quality result. You are experienced with residential and/or commercial painting, have reliable transportation, and strong communication skills; a positive attitude and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
