Job summary

Brothers Of Mercy Nursing and Rehab Center in Clarence, NY is seeking a full-time painting professional. You will perform painting, patching, and wall coverings for various surfaces and coordinate projects with the Director of Plant Operations.

The role requires preparing surfaces, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety while contributing to clean, welcoming environments for residents and staff. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous painting, wall covering, and finishing experience required.
• Knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to bend, lift, stand, and move intermittently throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, patching, and wall covering for walls, ceilings, woodwork, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, sanding, priming, and filling cracks/holes as needed to ensure proper finish and adhesion.
• Maintain all painting-related equipment and supplies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Assist in coordinating painting projects and completing preventative maintenance assignments.
• Keep all work/storage areas clean, orderly, and hazard-free.
• Follow all safety standards, using appropriate PPE for assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with the Director of Plant Operations and other team members to complete daily and project-based work assignments.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 Hourly

Job Shift: DayPainter – Full Time, flexible, rotating weekends
