Position: Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The responsibilities include:

1. Preparing surfaces and applying paints, stains, shading stains, and clear finishes.
2. Performing exterior and interior commercial finishes.
3. Operating and maintaining pressure spray machines.
4. Managing painting supplies and equipment.
5. Using various power and manual tools safely and effectively.
6. Following work assignments and priorities as directed by management.
7. Protecting surrounding areas from paint damage.
8. Inspecting work quality and performing touch-ups as needed.
9. Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment.
10. Collaborating with team members to meet project goals.
11. Adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
12. Availability for overtime, holidays, and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

1. At least 10 years of experience in interior and exterior commercial/industrial painting.
2. Knowledge of current painting methods and equipment.
3. Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
6. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
7. Physical ability to stand for long periods, crawl, climb, kneel, squat, or bend.
8. Capability to lift 50-80 pounds.
9. Experience working in confined spaces and at heights.
10. Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
11. Use of personal vehicle for work site travel.
12. Experience operating scissor and boom lifts.
