Job summary

Yellowstone Local is seeking a lead painter to manage residential and multi-family painting projects in the Portland, OR area. You will supervise crews, plan daily production, and ensure high-quality finishes across a variety of homes, from historic properties to new builds.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of residential painting experience preferred.
  • Experience leading painting crews and managing projects independently.
  • Strong residential repaint and multi-family painting experience preferred.
  • Experience working on older homes and pre-1978 properties preferred.
  • Knowledge of lead-safe painting practices preferred.
  • Surface prep including scraping, sanding, caulking, patching.
  • Brush and roll applications; spray applications; trim and detail finish work.
  • Minor repair and dry rot work.

  • Lead residential and multi-family painting crews across the Portland, OR metro area.
  • Manage daily production schedules and keep projects on track.
  • Perform and oversee surface preparation activities (scraping, sanding, caulking, patching).
