Job description

Merakey is currently seeking a Painter to join our team in the Plymouth Meeting, PA area.

Position Overview

• Paint, stain & varnish using brushes/rollers
• Cleaning, sanding, sandblasting, scraping, brushing to prepare for painting.
• Repairs surfaces to be painted including plastering & Sheetrock finishing.
• Erect scaffolding, movable & immovable staging & various rigging to gain access to difficult areas; may have to move furniture & equipment as necessary.
• Mixing & matching paint.
• Requisitions materials & supplies from stockroom.
• Waterproofing.
• Sets glass & applies putty.
• Occasionally may hang wallpaper.

Earn $21.50/hour in this position with the option of an additional $2/hour with the selection of enhanced pay.
