Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a skilled painter to perform interior and exterior painting, wallpapering, drywall finishing and refinishing of building surfaces. You will prepare surfaces, fill holes, and apply multiple coats of paint and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

The role requires attention to detail, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years of professional experience in painting and related trades. This is an hourly, on-site position in Peoria, IL.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 2 years work experience painting, wallpapering, drywall finishing and refinishing.

Expected pay for this position is $26.99 - $31.75/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Painter performs necessary painting, wallpapering, drywall finishing, and refinishing of interior and exterior building surfaces and furnishings. In doing so, smooths surfaces, fills holes and cracks, and applies coats of paint, varnish, stain and the like, using such equipment as paintbrushes, rollers, scrapers, conventional, airless, and electrostatic spray guns.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED

Other Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license required. Experience: 2 years work experience performing painting, wallpapering, drywall finishing and refinishing in a professional manner.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working in the healthcare industry in a facilities capacity.
