Summary

Follow all safety rules and procedures, including lockout/tagout. Clean work areas at the end of each shift and keep walkways clear. Complete tasks efficiently and with high quality, notifying supervisors of equipment issues or delays promptly. Record work details daily, reorder supplies as needed, and perform drywall patching, hanging, taping, and surface preparation for painting. Match paint colors, work with various paints, and repair vinyl and wallpaper. Complete assigned painting tasks timely. Handle flammable liquids properly, store materials safely, and maintain tools in good condition. May be assigned additional duties as appropriate.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• One to two years of experience in painting, plastering, taping, light carpentry, and hanging wall coverings
• Ability to follow directions and solve problems independently
• Responsible, initiative, and honest
• Good communication skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
• Ability to see colors
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Extensive mobility: lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, push, pull, and move supplies and equipment
• Work in confined spaces for certain tasks
• Concentrate on details despite interruptions
• Understand and remember instructions over long periods
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or patient care settings
• Exposure to loud noise, high voltage, moving parts, hot steam, outdoor environment, sawdust, chemicals

Pay range: $14.00 - $21.56 per hour
